Knock For Hunger
The P2P Pickleball Club is excited about a new partnership that will give club members an opportunity to help feed our community. Last year, Knock for Hunger, a local non-profit, collected 1,200 pounds of food. This year, with the help from Peak to Peak volunteers, their goal is to increase the collection area and gather even more. Knock for Hunger began collecting food donations, door to door, once a year for The Grainery, a non-profit that feeds the hungry in Chaffee County.
Food bags will be distributed in select neighborhoods of Salida and Poncha Springs. On May 5th at 8:45 AM, our crew of volunteers will meet at the Chaffee County Fairground North Building to get routes for food pick-up. Thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers. Dinko de Mayo Social Event - 2nd Annual!!!

Come to the second annual Dinko de Mayo event! Join your P2P pickleball peeps for one of the best social events of the Spring (cuz we have other fun events as well)!
Come to eat, socialize and dink. Meet some new friends, play some pickleball and have some Dinko de Mayo fun!
Bring your favorite dish to pass.
To ensure that we don't have all appetizers or all desserts, if your last name begins with A - J bring an appetizer. K - S bring a side dish, T - Z bring a dessert (but if you have a favorite that you REALLY want to bring, you can ignore the guidelines).
July 4th Community Center Event
On July 4th, the Community Center in Salida is organizing several celebratory events. There will be music at Riverside Park, and Peak to Peak Pickleball has agreed to run the Beer Truck in exchange for a reduced fee for Platinum Sponsorship for this event. There will be volunteer opportunities pouring libations from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. If you would like to volunteer for this event, contact roseseavey@outlook.com
